Martin and Wood Turns 30

This year, Martin and Wood celebrates 30 years of being at the forefront of water resource analyses and planning in the Western United States.

Back in 1991, Martin and Wood’s founders started the company with the intention to keep it a small water rights firm. Michelle Johnson, now the firm’s President and Principal Hydrogeologist-Engineer, was the first full-time employee in 2002.

As Colorado has grown, development has increased and so has the demand for water resource services. Today, Martin and Wood is still primarily focused on water rights, but we have also expanded our focus on water supply planning, drought and water efficiency planning, and operational analyses.

Martin and Wood has grown in response to the demand for our consulting services, but we have also stayed true to our initial vision, curating a compact team of experts to efficiently serve our clients.

With nine full-time employees as of last month, we continue the strategic growth of our water experts to serve our clients.

We’re honored to be the consulting water resource firm of choice in Colorado and look forward to continuing to serve you in all your complicated or controversial water rights issues, water resource planning, and water-related analyses.
