As of November 8, 2016, just over 30 percent of Colorado is experiencing moderate drought (D1 conditions, shown in pale orange), and this percentage has been generally increasing this fall. With the low snowfall totals and warm weather in much of the state, much-needed moisture is hopefully on the way.
