INTRODUCTION
Water quality has become a larger part of the work that Martin and Wood professionals carry out. We design water quality tests based on local, regional, and national standards, as well as specific standards set forth by a particular client project. Projects range from one-time sampling of water supply wells to short-term and long-term sampling of streams and lakes.
Martin and Wood delivers all water samples to a local laboratory for testing. Laboratory results are delivered to Martin and Wood for review and analysis. Martin and Wood personnel analyze short-term and long-term water quality sampling programs, showing how various constituents change over time and suggesting causes of such variation. Such changes can occur on a daily, monthly, or seasonal basis or may be caused by a one-time source pollutant. All analyses are reported to the client with any anomalous data noted along with suggested remediation procedures, if necessary.
