GIS and Historical Use
Martin and Wood personnel regularly use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software in technical evaluations, including the use of digital aerial imagery and delineation of historical irrigated areas.
Fulton Ditch Change
Asphalt Specialties Company, Inc., acquired 45 shares in the Fulton Ditch, which it planned to use as an augmentation water supply for its gravel pit mining operations. As part of a submitted plan, Martin and Wood conducted an historical use analysis for these 45 shares to determine the water available to offset stream depletions associated with their planned gravel mining operations.
