Stream Depletion Modeling and Accounting
Martin and Wood personnel use the Glover methodology in AWAS and 2-D and 3-D modeling using MODFLOW code to determine the magnitude, location, and timing of stream depletions. These calculations are often carried out for alluvial wells and exposed groundwater. Martin and Wood also develops and programs accounting spreadsheets for tracking and reporting the use, consumption, and replacement of water to show that out-of-priority stream depletions are augmented and that the terms and conditions of water court decrees are being followed.
