New Water Rights and Augmentation Plans
Martin and Wood testifies on behalf of our clients regarding the need for additional water supplies and the use of augmentation plans to maximize the utilization of the available water. Junior water rights are newer water rights that allow for maximum use of the available water resources (streamflow and groundwater) by allowing diversion or pumping of water generally during high flows or under an augmentation plan to prevent injury to existing senior water rights holders.
